Job summary

Provincial Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Part Time Facility Operations Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members. You will perform routine maintenance, support the preventative maintenance program, and work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and basic repairs, while assisting with deep cleaning and resident suites.

This part-time role offers flexible hours, paid training, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• 1 year maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles.
• Assist with the preventative maintenance program.
• Work on heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Deep cleaning and resident suite make-ready rooms as assigned.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedure.
• Work Schedule - Thursday-Saturday
