Job summary

Tessera is hiring a part-time Janitor in Auburn, Washington for in-person work. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a facility environment. Compensation is $17.13 per hour with pro-rata benefits for part-time status.

Expect to perform routine cleaning duties across restrooms, offices, and common areas, following safety policies and PPE requirements as needed. Apply with a background check and E-Verify processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ months previous Custodial or Janitorial experience is preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and learn cleaning processes.
• Must be able to tell time and count work hours.
• Ability to communicate with customer in a professional and courteous manner is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls, door handles & doors. Restock supplies.
• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop and vacuum daily. Wipe all door handles. Clean halls and high traffic areas.
• Trash - dispose of waste in lunchrooms, restrooms and all office areas according to schedule.
• Recycle - empty all bins into the recycling area. Handle cardboard recycling as needed.
• Restocking supplies - daily replenishment for bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dusting - dust in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms and office spaces.
