Job summary

Ozarks Technical Community College is seeking a Part-time Custodian to perform custodial duties across campus during unocculted hours. Responsibilities include cleaning, moving furniture, and assisting with events while following safety procedures.

The role requires knowledge of cleaning agents, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is part-time, not to exceed 19.5 hours weekly, with a non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and polishing agents and their proper use.
• Ability to operate hand-controlled appliances and safety equipment.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions including chemical labels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pull and push up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance.
• Clean buildings and facilities, including floors and windows.
• Disinfect bathrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Move furniture and assist with light labor as needed.
• Maintain walkways and remove snow/ice.
• Attend college functions and comply with policies.
