Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in Education or Child Development preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational/childcare settings is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to Calvin Christian’s Extended Care Program mission and values.
• Familiarity with Christian teachings and Reformed perspective is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with check-in/check-out and supervise students.
• Help implement classroom routines and behavioral expectations.
• Provide academic support and homework guidance.
• Prepare and organize materials for daily activities.
• Monitor transitions, recess, bathroom use, and safety.
• Assist in securing playgrounds and supervise supervision zones.
• Support end-of-day pickup communications with families.
