Eastern Sports Management is seeking a Special Events Staff member for Mylan Park in Morgantown, WV. This part-time, event-based role assists with setup, execution, and breakdown of events hosted at Mylan Park/Peak Health Aquatics Center.

You will help ensure facilities are safe, clean, and guests have a positive experience. The position requires a customer-focused attitude, reliability, and teamwork, with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on the event calendar.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, event operations, recreation, athletics, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and respond appropriately to changing event needs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on event demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown of materials.
• Support day-to-day operations of sporting events and rentals.
• Provide friendly customer service to guests and participants.
• Handle guest check-in, registration, ticketing, and crowd flow.
• Communicate needs and issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure facility safety and cleanliness.
• Report incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Attend required event briefings.
