Job summary

Compass Group USA's Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education is hiring for a catering attendant role at Marist University, 3399 North Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Part-time position with days/hours varying by business needs; prior customer service and food & beverage experience preferred.

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision, assists with setup and delivery, and returns leftover food and equipment promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service and food & beverage experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required and a food handler permit where required by state law.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule with variable days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Sets up tables and decorations; serves food and beverages to guests.
• Maintains cleanliness of the area during and after events.
• Returns equipment and leftover food to the catering facility in a timely manner.
• Ensures friendly, courteous service at all times.
