Job summary

Sioux City Country Club is seeking part-time bartenders for nights and weekends to provide exceptional service to members and guests. The role includes serving beverages, maintaining bar stock, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

The ideal candidate will be at least 18 at hire, with a background in food service or bartending preferred. Training in Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service is expected, and a strong commitment to club values is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least age 18 at time of hire.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in food service/bartending preferred.
• Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate

Responsibilities

• Attends to the service needs of club patrons in the bar area including food and beverage service.
• Maintains the stock and cleanliness of the bar area.
• Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
• Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the policy.
• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with proper pours and measures.
• Checks IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Records drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
• Takes food orders and delivers them to bar patrons.
• Reports equipment problems and follows closing and duty lists.
