Job summary

Harvard Protection Services seeks a Security Guard to deliver professional customer-focused security and life safety services at the assigned site.

Responsibilities include maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activity, and ensuring safety in all interactions with customers and staff. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a valid security officer license and have at least a high school diploma or GED. Part-time Fri-Sat, 2pm-10pm, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor and assist customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility.
• Monitor the environment for suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Greet customers and visitors professionally at all times.
• Answer phones in a professional manner.
• Control entry to the property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Perform required patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
