Job summary

Pelican Valley Senior Living is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide hands-on care and comfort to residents on a part-time evening schedule (6pm-10:30pm), with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts. The role includes administering medications, monitoring residents, coordinating with Nursing Assistants and other departments, and documenting care per state and facility guidelines.

Minnesota licensure and CPR within 6 months are required; prior long-term care experience is

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in Minnesota.
• CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
• Experience with elderly in long-term care, home care or assisted living settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered and transcribe orders as needed.
• Monitor residents and provide work direction to Nursing Assistants.
• Coordinate with activities, meal services, social services and nursing department.
• Document care plans and changes in resident condition.
