Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a part-time janitorial associate to clean and maintain the office, performing routine duties and supporting management. The role requires evening-time availability in addition to routine tasks.

Work is on a morning schedule from 5 AM to 10 AM, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Candidates should follow safety policies, maintain supplies, and work well in a team while handling physical tasks and operating cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and security procedures and company policies.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow schedules and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to take direction from a supervisor.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Demonstrates professionalism and reliability; ability to perform physical work and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for garbage removal from main areas and office spaces.
• Vacuum designated areas.
• Dust and deep clean office spaces as needed.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces (interior and exterior facing).
• Mop floors as needed.
• Use cleaning products properly (e.g., bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner).
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Lift and move items (e.g., toaster ovens, vacuums, desk chairs).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Work independently and ensure all assigned duties are completed.
