Job summary

Traditionsofhanover is seeking a part-time maintenance associate to keep our senior community safe and welcoming. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, maintain the building and grounds, and support a positive living environment.

Requirements: valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift and bend, and English communication with weekend availability. We offer PTO, Health/Dental/Life/Short-term Disability, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written.
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules
• Assists with ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies
• May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs
