Job summary

Redeemer East Side is seeking a passionate PM Elementary Classroom Leader for the Children’s Ministry. You will oversee a multi-age classroom, engaging elementary children with gospel-centered activities during Sunday worship, ensuring safety and meaningful learning experiences.

The role requires leading curriculum delivery, supervising children, welcoming families, and coordinating volunteers. Availability Sundays 4:15–7:00 PM plus prep time during the week; background check required; Easter

Qualifications

• Passionate to share the gospel with children and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for children & parents.
• Gentle leadership skills.
• Must pass Redeemer background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the delivery of curriculum during class time.
• Supervise all elementary children.
• Greet children, families and visitors and transition them to the classroom.
• Orient volunteers for the evening and pray with them before children arrive.
• Attend mandatory training sessions each year to review policies and procedures.
