Job summary

Redeemer East Side is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Ministry Evening (PM) Elementary Classroom Leader to lead and nurture a vibrant, gospel-centered environment for elementary age children during our Sunday evening worship services. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging space where children in a multi-age classroom can learn and grow in their faith.

Qualifications

• Must be available on Sunday evenings from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM, plus 2 hours during the week for preparation.
• Organizes and sets up classrooms to fit the needs of volunteers, staff and children each Sunday evening.
• Responsible for supervision of all elementary children.
• Greets all children, families and visitors and facilitates transitions from adult worship to the classroom.
• Orients volunteers for the evening and prays with them before children arrive.
• Lead and facilitate the delivery of curriculum during class time.
• Attend mandatory training sessions each year to review policies & procedures.
• Must be able to work on Easter plus at least one Sunday during the winter holidays.
• Must Work on Lessons and Carols Sunday.
