Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a caregiver in Minnesota for part-time evening shifts. Mon/Tues 3pm-9pm and every other weekend 3pm-11pm, or Thu/Fri 3pm-9pm with alternating weekends, provide flexible scheduling.

You will assist individuals with personal care, support behavioral needs, and help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while building trusting relationships.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Build meaningful relationships and motivate participants to be part of the community
