Job summary

Caring Transitions of Dripping Springs and Marble Falls is hiring awesome Part-Time Team Members to support seniors with downsizing, relocation and estate sales. You will deliver friendly, hands-on help in clients' homes and in community settings.

We’re offering flexible, part-time work with no guaranteed hours, making it ideal for parents, retirees, and anyone with a busy schedule. You will adapt to new situations, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate with a team.

Qualifications

• Compassion and respect for clients and families.
• Strong verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments; gloves provided.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
• Punctual and attentive to detail.
• Must have transportation and smartphone access for scheduling, timekeeping and project management.
• Age 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Must undergo pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate items.
• Organize, pack, unpack and resettle clients in homes and senior living communities.
• Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal and cleanout.
• Use hand-held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
• Sort, organize, research, label and handle items for resale.
• Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
• Stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, and carry supplies.
• Note that we are not movers; professional movers handle heavy items.
• Follow best practices, health and safety requirements and company guidelines.
