Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in teaching English as a second language or related field, and an ESL certificate.
• One year of ESL teaching experience in an accredited institution.
• Possession or eligible for a California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential.
• Understanding of and sensitivity to meeting the needs of diverse student populations.

Responsabilités

• Teach all assigned ESL classes per course outlines and schedule.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and progress; submit by deadlines.
• Submit syllabi to the Division Office and ensure materials are accessible to all students.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment and provide feedback to students.
