Job summary

LCCC in Cheyenne, WY seeks an Adjunct Instructor, ESL to provide high-quality instruction to a diverse population of ESL learners. This part-time, non-benefited role focuses on reading, writing, listening, and speaking aligned with program standards.

You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons, monitor attendance, and help with grant reporting. You may also market the program as needed to support student success. Preference for candidates who engage with culturally responsive teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Education, English, TESOL, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of one year ESL teaching experience in adult education, middle school, or high school.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction to ESL students.
• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned with program standards.
• Monitor attendance and compile data for grant accountability reports.
• Market the program as needed to support student enrollment.
