Job summary

Carrollton Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is seeking a Day & Night Shift RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis in Carrollton, TX. The RN will support the multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor Degree or equivalent, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and compassion, and will join a vibrant hospital culture focused on Trust, Accountability and community service.

Qualifications

• The RN is a licensed professional who facilitates and coordinates patient care delivery.
• Uses the nursing process to assess the patient, identify nursing diagnoses, develop plans, and evaluate responses.
• Communicates patient data to the health care team and documents outcomes.
• Creates a care plan sensitive to diversity and age, to facilitate wellness and healing.
• Delegates interventions per the Texas Nursing Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
• Educates patients, families, staff and the community as part of professional practice.

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse coordinates and delivers patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assess patients using the nursing process and develop focused care plans.
• Communicate data and collaborate with health care providers to deliver care.
• Create age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care plans.
• Delegate tasks within scope and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health promotion.
