Job summary

Rochester Regional Health’s Rochester General Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse I in the Emergency Department. This part-time position (20 hours per week) offers day, evening and night shifts in a high‑volume setting committed to compassionate, patient‑centered care.

As an RN, you will perform assessments, document plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A NY RN license, Diploma/Associate degree and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient
• Communicates and documents assessment with the interdisciplinary team
• Develops and documents plan of care
• Revises plan of care based on evaluations
• Completes a CRU form for Nursing Research

Education

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing

AS: Nursing (Required)
