Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• EMT or Paramedic certification in state of practice (or MA certification with affiliation).
• BLS-HCP certification upon hire.
• Point of Care Testing requires HS diploma or GED per CLIA.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient care needs and assist with hygiene, vital signs, and communication with the care team.
• Perform 12-lead EKG duties and other tasks within training.
• Apply and document restraints as directed by RN/physician.
• Assist with transfers, admissions, and discharges with safe patient handling.
• Order and maintain stock and perform unit secretary duties.
• Document patient care findings and notify changes promptly.
• Assist with emergency resuscitation and line setup as needed.
• Provide excellent patient and family service and support.
