Job summary

Episcopal SeniorLife Communities is seeking an Environmental Services Worker for a part-time role with shifts from 7am to 3pm and every other weekend required. The position focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents and staff in the facility.

The role involves comprehensive housekeeping tasks, adherence to safety and departmental procedures, and support during resident transfers and events.

Qualifications

• Six months environmental services experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent or willingness to learn procedures.
• Ability to receive and give written and oral directions.
• Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all resident rooms.
• Collect all resident and office trash and clean trash cans as needed.
• Clean bathroom fixtures, commodes and floors; stock paper supplies in resident rooms.
• Dust and polish surfaces and furniture as per procedures.
• Mop or vacuum resident room flooring and maintain organization of resident furniture.
