Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry/Biochemistry or pursuing degree in equivalent field.
• Basic laboratory techniques and PPE knowledge.
• Basic Excel skills required.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Comfortable working with strong acids and solvents.
• Excellent communication and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thermal desorption tubes for Quality Control of instruments.
• Tube preparation and conditioning.
• Glassware handling.
• Preparation of standard solutions.
• Managing temperature and weight logs.
• Chemical standard inventory.
• Data entry.
• Facility housekeeping/maintenance.
• Package shipping and receiving.
• Comply with QA Program and Health & Safety Plan.
• Other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Lab Director.
