Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Field Technician to assist with routine and non-routine sampling, monitoring, and data collection for environmental monitoring programs and client service requests across multiple sites.

This part-time role (weekends 7am–3:30pm and all holidays) requires driving, sample packaging, on-site testing when needed, strict data documentation, OSHA safety adherence, and clear communication with customers and the lab team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and navigate using GPS/ maps.
• Must lift up to 25lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collects, documents, packages, and ships samples per project protocols.
• Performs sampling of hazardous and non-hazardous environmental samples.
• Support routine sample preparation and analyses on-site for mobile labs or surveys.
• Complete documents and ensure quality control for all assignments.
• Plan and complete daily assigned routes and update supervisor as needed.
• Deliver sample containers/materials to clients and maintain custody of samples.
• Operate and troubleshoot field collection equipment; perform on-site testing when required.
