New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Center for Natural Resources seeks an Hourly Data Analyst (part-time) to conduct soil contamination experiments and support environmental projects. You will assist with lab and field work on pollutant transport and interactions, and deliver progress updates to the CNR director.

The role requires a Master’s or active PhD in Environmental or Civil Engineering, plus collaboration with scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or PhD candidate in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience with government-funded environmental projects (e.g., NJDEP, EPA, NOAA).
• Experience collaborating with scientists and engineers.

Responsabilités

• Conduct experiments on contamination in soils.
• Assist with lab and field investigations into the breakdown and transport of pollutants in water and sediment, and their interaction with contaminants.
• Provide progress reports to CNR director, Dr. Boufadel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Center Director.
