A professional infrastructure and environmental services firm is seeking a part-time Environmental Compliance Specialist to provide compliance consulting services across various environments. You will work independently and with a team conducting audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and significant experience in environmental auditing. This role involves travel and requires effective communication skills and knowledge of regulatory standards.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience performing audits and inspections supporting compliance with regulatory standards.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass a Federal background investigation.
Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide environmental compliance consulting services to government and commercial clients.
Evaluate facilities for compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist with development of findings and corrective actions.
Skills
Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Education
