Job summary

SAIC in Ashburn, VA is seeking a part-time Java/JEE Developer (Entry Level) to join our team. The role focuses on building REST microservices with Java/Spring, developing Angular front-ends, and collaborating in an Agile environment.

The candidate will design, implement, and unit test software, write SQL queries, and contribute to data modeling in a large enterprise system. A Bachelor's in CS or related field is required, with exposure to J2EE/JEE a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• Strong Java/J2EE/JEE development experience including designing, developing, and documenting large-scale enterprise software systems.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with Angular and React for front-end development.
• Familiarity with HTML/Javascript/CSS, XML/JSON, and SQL.
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and Java web application development.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• Strong foundational knowledge or Java with at least 1 year of Java J2EE/JEE design and software development experience including designing, developing, and documenting large-scale enterprise software systems.

• Familiar with AWS.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
