Job summary

Pennant, Inc. in Sabina, OH is seeking an Assembly (Part-Time 1st Shift) to perform light assembly and packing of metal stamped parts in a manufacturing setting. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided and no prior manufacturing experience required.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and following simple instructions while working near stamping presses and automated equipment. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to follow simple verbal and visual work instructions.
• Basic counting and sorting skills.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, production, assembly, or packing environment (preferred).
• Basic familiarity with hand tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform light assembly of metal stamped parts and components following simple visual instructions or examples.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and report concerns.
• Pack finished parts into boxes, bins, or containers.
• Label, count, and stack packaged parts as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area (5S).
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements; stay clear of machine zones.
• Report equipment issues or quality problems to a Lead or Supervisor.
• Move between stations as production needs require.
• Communicate production status to team and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
