Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills are required.
• Must be able to multitask while working in a very fast paced environment.
• Ideal candidate is organized, possesses good time management skills, and exhibits professionalism in dress and language.
• Punctuality and reliability are imperative.

Responsibilities

• Greet each patient with a friendly welcome.
• Maintain an efficient workflow at the reception desk.
• Professionally answer phone calls and take messages to send to providers and clinical staff when appropriate.
• Learn and use multiple systems to schedule, reschedule and check-in patients for appointments.
• Collect and apply copays and balances.
• Update patient demographics.
• Verify insurance and eligibility/scan insurance cards.
• Send pre-registration to patients.
• Balance the end-of-day reports.
• Keep lobby and reception area tidy.
• Actively participate in VBC and ACO initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to travel to our other locations if needed in Farr West and Brigham,
