Are you a behavioral professional who enjoys helping someone learn new skills, communicate more effectively, become more independent, and successfully navigate everyday challenges?
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, energetic professional with strong behavioral experience to join an experienced team supporting an engaging young adult with autism.
This is a hands-on behavioral support position, not simply a supervision or caregiving job. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) in everyday situations while helping the person build skills, increase independence, communicate, participate in the community, and enjoy a meaningful, active life.
We are looking for someone who can offer a dependable, consistent schedule and become a valued member of the support team.
Pay: $28–$35 per hour
based on education, qualifications, and experience.
You will use your behavioral knowledge in real-life situations to help the person learn, communicate, participate, and become more independent.
Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in behavioral support and enjoy using behavioral principles to teach—not simply supervise.
A bachelor’s degree or training in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
We are especially interested in candidates with experience or credentials such as:
Experience with AAC, PECS, functional communication, skill acquisition, data collection, or Behavior Support Plans is a plus.
We also welcome experienced professionals who may not hold a specific credential but have demonstrated meaningful experience providing behavioral support.
This isn't a job where you're simply there to supervise someone or fill time.
You will have opportunities to teach communication, build independence, reinforce appropriate skills, work through challenges, and create opportunities for success. Whether you're teaching a daily living skill, practicing communication, supporting a community activity, or helping someone work through a difficult moment, your knowledge and consistency can make a real difference.
The goal isn't simply to get through the day.
The goal is to help the person have a successful day.
