Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Boundary Assessment in Bridgeport, PA. This flexible, reliable role offers fixed anchor shifts on weekends with the possibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings. Pay rate is $17.92 per hour.

Shifts available include Saturday and Sunday evenings, with a six-month anchor commitment to a designated site and opportunities to grow via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report unusual conditions, and support a professional, orderly environment during package and freight operations.
