Job summary

Barry University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach law courses offered as day or evening classes in Orlando, Florida. This is an open pool position, with roles filled as needed from applicants on file. Teaching terms are 13 weeks in Fall/Spring or 7 weeks in Summer; class times vary by credit hours.

The position is located at 6441 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32807, within the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with a concentration in English or Communications preferred.
• Ph.D. preferred.
• Experience in teaching or at least 5 years of relevant law-related employment.
• Commitment to the mission of the Law School and its curricular and instructional methods and goals.

Responsibilities

• Teach for 13 weeks during Fall or Spring Semester or for 7 weeks during Summer term.
• Class times vary depending on the credit hours.
