Job summary

Lone Star College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach Energy, Manufacturing & Trades Management across a variety of times and locations. You will develop engaging lessons, follow course syllabi, and support student learning in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

We hire year-round based on student demand, offering day, evening, and weekend classes. Adjunct instructors may teach up to five classes per academic year and collaborate with colleagues to advance student

Qualifications

• Mastery of course content and delivery for management topics.
• Ability to design engaging lessons and assess student learning.
• Experience with teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Energy, Manufacturing & Trades Management courses at various times/locations.
• Creates engaging lessons and promotes student involvement.
• Submits reports and follows college guidelines.
• Uses a course syllabus and meeting with students as needed.
• Evaluates student progress and communicates outcomes.
• Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Assists with meetings, trainings, and other duties as assigned.
• Performs related duties as required.
