Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 20-hour-per-week position. You will coordinate all aspects of nursing care related to pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, including IV conscious sedation, in collaboration with multiple disciplines.

The role requires MA RN licensure, BSN, and BLS/ACLS certification, with a preference for gastroenterology and ambulatory nursing experience, alongside strong communication and prioritization skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required in nursing practice.
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Previous gastroenterology nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Previous procedural/ambulatory nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
• Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
• Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide nursing care related to gastroenterology procedures before, during, and after.
• Care for patients in procedure rooms and provide IV conscious sedation.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with accountability to a designated nurse manager.
