Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Yuma, AZ. The EMT will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provide high-quality care, and ensure excellent customer service to patients.

The role requires EMT license, BLS, NREMT, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and collaborate with other health and public safety professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT License and current certifications (BLS, NREMT).
• State Driver’s License in good standing.
• Driving record compliant with company policy as per standards.
• Pass the Physical Agility Test required for field deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine required care; deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients and equipment.
• Use EMT skills for care including communications, equipment use, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and community relations.
