Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time in Marston, MO. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a base shift and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to build a path toward broader hours or full-time work.

Pay rate is $24.50 per hour. Requirements include EMT certification, one year of security experience, and a valid driver’s license; preferred baton certification.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
