Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate, part-time openings in Decatur, IL. You will respond to emergencies and non-emergencies, provide high-quality care, and document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.

You will work in partnership with AMR crews and adhere to safety, infection control and quality standards. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, state EMT license, state driver's license, BLS, NREMT, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State EMT license and NREMT certification.
• State driver's license and clean driving record.
• BLS certification.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to pass physical agility test.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine required care; provide emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment.
• Apply EMT skills including communications and equipment use.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
