Emergency Medical Technician EMT

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! PART-TIME/ON-CALL EMT Opportunity

Location: Charles City, IA

Starting Pay: $15 per hour (commensurate with experience)

We're hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
2. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
3. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
4. Use EMT skills to provide care, including communication, medical equipment operation, cleaning procedures, and use of office tools.
5. Operate ambulances in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency vehicle operation.
6. Collaborate professionally with all health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and community relations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• State EMT License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, NREMT certifications
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some healthcare work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Related healthcare experience
