Job summary

Osage Ambulance District seeks an Adjunct EMS Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, clinical, and field instruction across EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic programs. You will prepare lesson plans, evaluate students, and support curriculum development under the EMS Education Director and coordinators.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and evidence-based educational practices.
  • Understanding of National EMS Education Standards and current EMS best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to teach in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, clinical, and field instruction for EMS courses as assigned.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and student assignments.
  • Evaluate student knowledge, psychomotor skills, and clinical competency.
  • Document student attendance, grades, and progression in program policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and patient information.
