Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hold a PA Paraeducator Credential of Competency Certificate (or willing to complete within 6 months of hire).
• Completed a minimum of 48 post-secondary credits in any content area.
• Completed associate degree or higher in any content area.
• Willing to complete 20 hours of staff development each school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to the teacher and students under supervision.
• Assist in lifting students and any assistive appliances.
• Physically restrain students in emotional stress using designated training methods.
