Job summary

Purovets in Central Florida is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a 24/7 emergency hospital serving Lake Nona and Ocoee. This part-time role offers two 12‑hour shifts per week, with day and night options, enabling a better work‑life balance while delivering high‑quality care.

You will treat dogs and cats in urgent situations, perform needed procedures, and work with a collaborative team using digital X-rays, ultrasound and in‑house labs.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with strong diagnostic, clinical and surgical skills.
• Two years of emergency veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat emergency patients and develop treatment plans.
• Stabilize critically ill or injured animals and perform urgent procedures.
• Use diagnostic equipment (digital X-rays, ultrasound, in-house labs).
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and staff for efficient patient care.
