Job summary

Purovets is seeking a Part-Time Emergency Veterinarian for our 24/7 emergency hospital serving Lake Nona and Ocoee, FL. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergencies, stabilize critical patients, and work with a collaborative team during fast-paced shifts.

The role offers two 12-hour shifts per week with flexible day or night options, a salary range of $170,000–$200,000 FTE, production bonus, medical benefits, 401(k) match, CE allowance, licenses covered, PTO, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• At least 2 years of emergency veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills.
• Confidence making clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency examinations, diagnostics, and treatment.
• Stabilize critical patients and manage urgent medical and surgical cases.
• Use digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with pet owners.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow current emergency medicine protocols.
