PetVet Care Centers in O’Fallon, Missouri is seeking a Part-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 Animal Emergency Clinic team. You’ll provide urgent care with a flexible schedule and a consistent home hospital assignment, supported by national resources and mentorship from a board-certified surgeon.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications per protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols daily.
