Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is building a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to teach English Language Learning (ELL) courses. Opportunities may arise for face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats across multiple Wisconsin campuses, with flexible per‑course assignments.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree (ESL/TEFL or related) and demonstrate experience or strong potential in teaching ELL, curriculum development, and assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in ESL/TEFL or related fields.
• At least 20 semester credits in English/education related subjects may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan for and instruct courses in the area of ELL.
• Implement relevant and progressive curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality instruction with effective learning strategies.
• Create performance-based assessments aligned with competencies.
• Promote student success through timely communication and feedback.
• Meet professional expectations and contribute to a collaborative culture.
