Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana invites applications for adjunct faculty positions. These are temporary, part-time roles hired each semester to provide instruction and assessment within standard course syllabi.

The successful candidate will teach assigned courses, prepare syllabi, maintain attendance and grading records, support students outside class time, and use Ivy Learn and PowerPoint. Qualifications include a master’s or higher in education and at least three years of K-12 teaching.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or a related field and eligibility for teaching credentials as applicable.
• Three years of K-12 teaching experience or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of instructional technologies and current classroom tools.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and prepare syllabi consistent with program standards.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy and deadlines.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time and address concerns.
• Use Ivy Learn, PowerPoint, and other tools as appropriate; notify department chair in emergencies.
