Qualifications

• Part-time paraprofessional position for 22 hours per week.
• Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google Docs and check email frequently.
• Willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support to students and student groups.
• Participates in development, maintenance and execution of classroom management systems.
• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with others.
• Operates office equipment such as computers and copiers.
• Complies with district policies and procedures.
• Supports teachers with technology-enhanced instruction.
• Works with teachers to ensure students receive instruction on the State Technology Core.
• Trains students on proper use of district computer equipment per Acceptable Use Policy.
• Assists teachers in selecting class-correlated computer activities.
• Provides written and verbal feedback on student progress to the teacher as needed.
• Maintains an aesthetically conducive learning environment.
• Maintains and coordinates a schedule to maximize computer use.
