Job summary

Shenendehowa Central School District seeks an Elementary Classroom Aide (Academic Instructional Support) for Okte Elementary School. The 3.5-hour daily, Monday through Friday position runs 10:00am–1:30pm, temporary through June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities include supporting students and staff, supervising activities, and assisting with routine classroom tasks. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED is required.
• Experience with youth is desirable.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students and staff in classroom and non-classroom settings.
• Supervise recreation or cafeteria time and escort students to classes.
• Assist with routine tasks such as collecting student work and distributing materials.
