Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of documented Electrical experience at the journeyman level including supervision or 3 years as a certified teacher in vocational training.
• Willing to complete NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program and obtain necessary NCCER certification.
• Willing to complete Green Apple Labs certification to teach electrical labs.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Electrical Worker courses at various times.
• Evaluates students' progress toward course objectives.
• Continuously improves instructional quality by utilizing innovative methodologies.

Skills

Knowledge of all aspects of the Electrical Worker trade

Mastery of NCCER electrical course content

Skills in project leadership

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with MS Office software

Strong communication and computer skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Possess an Electrical Worker Journeyman credential or equivalent
