Job summary

Action Target is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a temporary part-time internship in Provo, UT. The role supports design, development, documentation and testing of electro-mechanical automated target systems used in commercial and law enforcement facilities. You will work on CAD-based design, perform calculations, test components and help maintain documentation.

Enrollment in an Electrical/Computer Engineering program and authorization to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Computer/Electrical Engineering program or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop system design and product documentation using CAD tools.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Test Electrical/Mechanical components and recommend improvements.
• Assist with inspections of equipment.
• Document management and file organization.
• Complete assigned work on time with instruction from the project lead.
• Review and document work procedures for special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
