Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and county election laws, procedures and requirements.
• Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of supervision principles and practices.
• Ability to plan and coordinate work of clerical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing ballot preparation and election materials distribution.
• Oversee counting or recounting of votes and certification of results.
• Plan and direct voter registration within the county; update records.
• Prepare required election reports and records for the state.
• Provide information to candidates and the public regarding procedures.
• Perform related work as required.
