Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of English Language Development instruction and language proficiency assessment.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and document ELD instruction for multilingual learners.
• Coordinate multilingual learner annual state English language proficiency assessments (ACCESS/Alternate ACCESS).
• Maintain confidential MLL records and monitoring documentation.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to integrate language development into daily routines.
• Support compliance with Rhode Island requirements and district coordination for services.
• Engage families with interpretation and translated materials as appropriate.
